This article primarily focuses on the establishment of a talent development system for the field ofAbstractIntelligent Medical Engineering, characterized by the interdisciplinary fusion of medicine and engineering, within theeontext of new medical science. Taking the Inteligent Medical Engineering program at Guilin Medical University asan example , it systematically elaborates on talent cultivation plans, curriculum system construction, faculty teamand the integration of medicine and engineering in practical training platforms. The aim is to explore new pathways folapplication-oriented talent development in local universities. In the context of the " new medical science" and " newengineering science" era, continuous elforts are made to enhance the quality of talent cultivation.
